With a mild buckwheat flavour, this honey is the perfect middle ground between our Golden Honey and Dark Honey. It boasts a robust, bold taste with deep caramel-like undertones, making it ideal for cooking—think honey garlic wings or glazing hams. If you enjoy a strong honey flavour, this is the one for you.
Amber Honey
Pure, raw honey naturally crystallizes. This is a normal process and not a sign of adulteration. The rate at which honey crystallizes can vary, depending on the types of flowers the bees have visited. If your honey crystallizes and you prefer it in liquid form, we recommend placing the jar (without the lid) in a pot with about an inch of water. Put the burner on low heat and stir occasionally. It should take approximately 10 minutes for the honey to transform from solid to liquid. Ensure the honey doesn't simmer, as this will pasteurize it.
